A long-time Washingtonian, she was a proud member of the Women''s Auxiliary of the Washington Hospital Center for more than 30 years. Besides her daughter, she also leaves her devoted son-in-law Robert H. Hurt; and adored granddaughters, Emma Newall Hurt and Louisa Hunter Hurt.
