Leach, 88 a photographer who got his start with the Washington Evening Star newspaper, died Dec. 15, 2005 at his home in Rockville, MD from a degenerative brain disease.
In WW II he was assigned to a B-25 bombersquadron in the Pacific, where he did aerial reconnaisance and mapping, as well as low-altitude bombings. He was with the Evening Star from 1945 to its demise in 1981. After the Star closed he set up his own studio shooting model home interiors for decorators.
